Little Lake Cemetery Co., expands to Millbrook, ON
The Mill Valley Funeral & Cremation Centre, centrally located in Millbrook, Ontario was formerly known as the Fallis & Shields Funeral Home (December 2015 to October 2021) and was purchased by Little Lake Cemetery Co. as an extension of our successful funeral businesses in Eastern Ontario.
The Little Lake Cemetery Company is a locally owned, not for profit, non-commissioned funeral home and cemetery in Peterborough and Lindsay, Ontario, and we continue to provide a range of professional and caring services to all of the families we serve. As Little Lake Cemetery Co. we also own Highland Park Funeral Centre (https://www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com) and Lakeland Funeral Centre (https://www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com/).
The official date of purchase for Fallis & Shields Funeral Home was October 29, 2021. Immediately we re-branded the funeral home to Mill Valley Funeral & Cremation Centre.
Please note that all pre-arrangements made through Fallis & Shields Funeral Home will be honoured as arranged. Also, all previous online obituaries will be transferred to our new website so that you can continue to access your loved one’s obituary and condolences.

The Mill Valley Funeral & Cremation Centre specializes in providing affordable funeral and cremation options to the families located in and around the Millbrook community. Our licensed funeral director is available 24/7 by calling the funeral home.
All cremations will be provided by our sister company, Highland Park Crematorium, located in Peterborough on the property of our cemetery and funeral home. We want you to know that when you hire us for a cremation service, your loved one does not leave our staff at any time. From the time that we arrive to pick up your loved one, to the moment we give back their ashes cremated remains in a cremation urn, we will be with them throughout the process.
